Techniques for Predictable Implant Surgery
Course Synopsis
Presenters: Timothy F. Kosinski, DDS | Paresh B. Patel, DDS
This course will review protocols and techniques for dental implant treatment. Emphasis will be placed on hard and soft tissue grafting, socket preservation, suturing and single unit implant placement in the anterior and posterior. A hands-on component will include a model-based session covering techniques, instruments, and materials for the complete implant surgery process from site preparation to implant placement.
Learning Objectives
- Diagnose and treat single-unit cases from socket preservation to final restoration
- Administer techniques for proper atraumatic extractions
- Demonstrate predictable socket grafting techniques
- Understand instrumentation and implant surgical kits
- Identify implant abutment and restorative material options
