Course Synopsis
Presenter: Bianca Clark, DDS
This course will strengthen your understanding and confidence in using 3D printing technology for a wide range of clinical applications, from occlusal guards and sleep appliances to complete and partial dentures. Learn how to integrate 3D printing into your practice with efficient, predictable workflows.
Hands-on demonstrations will guide participants through each stage of the 3D printing process, including scanning, design, printing, post-processing, and delivery of finished devices. Participants will also explore emerging opportunities for 3D printing and explore strategies to leverage this technology for long-term practice growth.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the 3D printing workflow for bite appliances, sleep devices, and dentures
- Evaluate digital design options, printer technologies, and material considerations
- Compare advantages of in-house versus outsourced 3D printing solutions
- Apply post-processing protocols to achieve accurate, durable, and esthetic results
- Identify opportunities for expanding clinical services through 3D printing
